Proper Planning

Many parents will ask us when their planning for their child's education should begin. The answer to that is as soon as possible. We all know the rising costs involved in a college education and the way to be successful in this endeavor is to start your planning as early as possible and by taking control of the process! What we mean by the process is the complicated rules and paperwork involved in applying for college financial aid. Do Not assume that you are not eligible!

There are all sorts of strategies that parents can implement to make college more affordable. You simply want to make sure that you have explored all options and that is exactly what we do for you at Cleveland College Funding!

January 1 of your child's junior year in high school to December 31 of your child's senior year in high school will be what is considered your "base year". This means they pull the financial numbers from this time period to determine what sort of financial aid package your student will receive their freshman year in college.

Start the process in your child's junior year in high school if at all possible! Attend One of Our FREE College Funding Workshops to learn more.
